Introducing our new Digital Marketing Executive

We're thrilled to welcome Simon Demaine to the MWT Cymru team as our new Digital Marketing Executive!

Simon brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for Mid Wales. After earning his HND in Visual Communication from Warwickshire College, Simon built his career across various businesses and organisations.

He’s worked as a Magazine Production Assistant for the British Independent Retailer Association and as a freelance designer for notable clients like the NHS, TGI Fridays, Unipart, Adobe, and Phillips.

Simon's connection to Mid Wales runs deep. He spent many childhood holidays in Tywyn, enjoying mountain trails, beach visits, and rides on the Great Little Trains of Wales.

This love for the area continued into adulthood, where he and his wife ran a charming lakeside Bed and Breakfast in Talyllyn from 2017 to 2019.

Simon’s understanding of the tourism industry and his digital marketing expertise will be invaluable in supporting our members.

We are confident that his dedication and insights will help our community thrive.
