Introduction to Accessibility Workshop for Event Organisers & Support with Access Statements

Our membership manager Claire Owen met recently with PIWS, a parent led Community Interest Company (not for profit) focused on creating an inclusive environment in both local and tourism settings in Wales.

Founded in 2018 on the Isle of Anglesey, PIWS is dedicated to enhancing accessibility for individuals with disabilities, including autism, learning difficulties, sensory impairments, mobility challenges, and brain illnesses.

​PIWS is running a FREE online one-hour workshop for event organisers, with the aim of providing a practical foundation for creating inclusive environments for individuals with disabilities. The session covers core accessibility principles, legal responsibilities, and effective strategies to enhance accessibility in services and spaces.
