​In our June MWT members’ meeting we were delighted to welcome guest speakers, Julie Perkins, Business Events Manager at Visit Wales, and Aled Rees, founder of Cambria@ASA for a special session focused on how you can work with the business events and travel trade markets.

Julie has also asked us to share a couple of additional things with you –

• This VisitBritain link: England & UK Tourism Industry Website | VisitBritain.org where you can drill down market information and get an understanding of the B2B areas. The market inbound research is really useful
• A plea for venues – please add your capacities information to your listings (on our Visit Mid Wales website, on Visit Wales sites if you already have a listing with them, and on your own websites). Julie needs to quickly and easily extract information to respond to client enquiries, and clients going directly to your website also need to see at a quick glance what you offer.
