A new treasurer and trustee have been appointed to the National Library of Wales’ Board of Trustees.
Lee Yale-Helms will take over as treasurer from Colin John from August 1, while Eleri Twynog Davies has already begun her post as trustee. Both have been appointed for four years. Rhodri Glyn Thomas, the library’s president, said both Mr Yale-Helms and Ms Davies would offer experience and valuable expertise to the board.

MWT say ‘No’ to possible new tax19/7/2017 A possible tourism levy is one of the ideas put forward by the Bevan Foundation, a Valleys think tank but no further details have emerged about whether it will be paid by businesses or visitors.
However, the idea has attracted a blunt response from the tourism industry. Val Hawkins, chief executive of MWT Cymru, said: “The last thing we need at the moment is a tourism tax.” WTA July News18/7/2017
