MWT - Update your Information1/5/2017
What We're Doing MWT is promoting our office helpline number directly to visitors on our new VisitMidWales.co.uk website. We have already dealt with a number of enquiries, and made reservations direct (and commission free) to MWT members. With TIC's reduced opening hours and some closures, some visitors still wish to book their accommodation by phone and we are taking a number of phone calls a day from visitors requesting information. This is great for our members (and for the region) and we have found our new shortlisting option on VMW particularly useful as we can easily use this to email accommodation details and late availability lists directly to visitors. Please note:
MWT are not a booking agency and currently are not charging any commissions on the bookings we have generated over the phone. As we are only a small team we do need to be think carefully about resources and whether this is cost effective for ourselves and for our members and we will be keeping this under review. Visitmidwales.co.uk provides a commission free channel for all MWT businesses who are updating their pricing and availability - and if you are graded this is also sent across to the Visit Wales website What we need from you We match visitor needs with the information you provide on Guestlink, so it really is vital that your details are accurate and up to date. e.g If we have an enquiry from a visitor requiring a ground floor room but your facility hasn't been ticked then we have no way to match this customer to your business. Remember!
If you need any help in updating your information then please do not hesitate to contact us. We can provide training over the phone or through a webinar session or if you're local to Machynlleth then you're welcome to book a time to come into the office for one 2 one training. Contact Zoe on 01654 702653 if you require help. It only takes 10 minutes to check your entry so please don't delay!
