Often restaurants and retail don't consider themselves 'tourism businesses' but the truth of the matter is that in fact they are fundamental to a good tourism economy in a town, without places to eat and retail outlets then we simply wouldn't have a tourism trade in our town centres. On the flip side you as businesses also relay heavily on a good tourism economy to run your businesses successfully.

We also understand that many shops and restaurants don't know where to turn for advice and support, often they work in isolation and many aren't getting the full picture of support and opportunities that are out there which can help boost trade.

As an associated member of MWT we provide a 5 day a week helpline which is here for you! We work with hundreds of businesses and we know what works, and what doesn't. We can help you network with  other businesses and offer marketing support to help boost your coverage locally to visitors.

As a member you can join our menu exchange or leaflet exchange where our local accommodation businesses request your leaflet or menu which can be displayed in their properties.  The menu exchange is a fantastic way to reach visitors when they're in area and are looking for places to visit

If a 3 bed guesthouse averages 45% occupancy in a year (2 people in a room) over the course of a year that could be an extra 985 visitors your business could be in front of....now what if 10 businesses have your literature?

For restaurant and retail businesses our 'Show Me Wales' app is the perfect platform to advertise your business, the app features an 'around me' function which is the perfect platform for attracting 'in area' visitors to your establishment.

All members automatically get an entry onto our www.showmewales.co.uk website and inclusions in widgets, helping to promote business nationally, regionally and locally.

Every member has full access to add additional 'items' (e.g events, cafe, private functions, meeting room) each 'item' you add can have a full listing, this could include different images, different contact details etc You can upload PDF's, youtube videos and much more.
